6 Steps To Become Successful Blogging To Make Money

September 2nd, 2009 by admin | Filed in Internet Marketing

If you have a skill for writing or journalism, and people love what you write about. Blogging to make money is an option for the writer at heart. You also have to consider the fact that writing can make you famous on the Internet. Even if you think that you are not a good enough writer, you can also make money writing blogs.

Since the blogging craze began, there were a lot of people who began opening up their own blog sites and a few of them have become famous. With their fame, they have also learned to make money blogging.

Step One: Get started by signing-up for a blog online. It’s free to get a blog that is also hosted free too. However, you do get what you pay for. If you are at all seriously interested in making money blogging and becoming famous, the best ways to start is to get your own domain and your own hosting account. By doing this, your blog will have better rankings on Google. With a better ranking, people will be able to find your website easier and you will not have to spend as much money advertising your site. So you see, you will be saving money in the long run. I have a hosting account with KIOSK and recommended them as the best value you will find online. CLICK HERE to find out more about KIOSK.

Step Two: Start posting articles on your blog. The great thing about blogging is that you absolutely have complete freedom on whatever you want to write about. However, you have to take care in avoiding offending someone. Of coarse, all types of discrimination, hate messages and pornographic content is strictly prohibited. You also need to be very careful not to recommend any product that promotes any of these offenses.

Step Three: Either advertise your site, or write a lot of articles and post them on other websites to get traffic to your blog. Writing interesting and informative articles is a great way to get ranked higher in Google and other search engines. However, this can take a long time before you see any results or get any traffic.

Advertising your blog on Google Adwords, or Yahoo, or MSN, you will get instant traffic and if your website is interesting and monetized correctly, the traffic you gain can mean you are now blogging to make money. There are a few things you first need to know before you delve into spending money on advertising. Blogging for money is possible and many people are doing it everyday but there is a learning curve.

The fastest way to learn is to find yourself a good membership program and/or purchase ebooks that cover the information you are looking for. Internet marketing has a lot of different things you need to learn so I recommend you find a good membership program. I’ve been a member of two programs so I know what’s inside these membership programs and what they have to offer it’s members. AffiloBlueprint is the best membership program to start with. Mark Ling is a well known and respected Internet guru he really over delivers on his membership website. Another membership program that I can recommend to you is Maverick Money Makers. I have reviewed Maverick Money Makers on my review website so please check out my review.

Step Four: Blog on your website regularly. Everyday is the best but you should at least post on your blog once a week. Also listing your articles on popular directories like Ezine will help your blog go up in the search rankings.

Just writing articles to make money blogging online, is NOT recommended. People will see through that easily and will never visit your site again. Articles on your blog should have interesting information that people are looking for. Think of what the public is interested in or what information would be helpful to them. You will get more visitors to your website by being someone they can trust to give honest information.

Step Five: Post more instructional and informational articles on your blog than monetized articles that read like a sales letters. In fact, you should offer 70% free informational content to 30% monetized content. That way, your blog does not become known by the search engines as “spam”.

Step Six: Keep learning….everyday learn something new in your niche or in the Internet marketing field. There are a lot of resources online that will help you make money blogging. Read and DO everything you learn. I must also stress that just because “learning” is a action word, many people fail when they do not act on what they have learned. Don’t fall into that trap. Write yourself a list of goals each day you want to tackle and JUST DO IT! You will see the results of your efforts when you consistently work at blogging to make money.

By inputting these steps into your daily tasks, your blog will become well known by all the search engines and you will not have to spend so much on advertising your blog. The blogging to make money part comes as your website grows and you gain experience. Remember to gain the information you need first before you start spending money to advertise your blog. Those membership websites will help you out immensely.

I wish you the best and who knows, I may find myself reading one of your interesting articles on your blog.

Let me know if this article helps you in your blogging to make money experience.
